The main cave is Vlichada ... The tourist route is 1.5 km and takes about 45 minutes, 80% of the route you will visit by boat where the driver takes over to guide you and only 300 meters will walk. The temperature in the cave does not rise above 14 degrees so it is advisable to have a coat with you. The route is tortuous and the visitor remains speechless by this miracle of nature. Then you will head to the cave Alepotripa. Near Alepotripa you will find the Neolithic Museum. Diros Caves during the summer are open for public from 08:30am to 17:30pm.
*Leaving from Diros Caves you will drive to Areopolis, in central Mani. It is worth walking the cobblestone alleys, cobbled streets, churches and preserved mansions and castles, to discover the Byzantine splendor in its entirety.
* Around 14:00pm you will head to the beautiful Itilo to eat fresh fish. Itilo is a village smothered in olive trees.
If you want you can swim from the specially shaped stones at the edge of the bay. The best option for a swim is Marmari, one of the largest sandy beaches.
* Around 17:00pm we recommend to lovers of riding, but also to all those who want to experience something different visit the equestrian center, 2 km away from Areopolis. If this is your first time, do not be afraid to try, there are instructors who will guide you and it will be a unique experience for young and old. The center operates in breeding the Horse of Mani, to avoid extinction.
* Your day will end with a delicious dinner in our hotel restaurant, tasting flavors suggested by our Chef and watching the play of the moonlight on the sea of the Laconic Gulf.
